High cycle fatigue testing

Process Material testing where fatigue resistance is determined by rotating the material with a large number of cycles, in a machine while it is loaded with a small force.

Hydrostatic pressure test

Process Test method where the material is pressurized by a liquid for possible defects to be detected by the possible deformations that occur adjacent to the defects.

Knoop testing

Process Testing method for materials in which an indenter whose tip is shaped like an equilateral pyramid creates a depression whose diagonal is translated to Knoop hardness.
