Roll forming

Cold rolling of sheets

Process Rolling process in which a workpiece is pressed between rotating rollers to reduce its thickness without recrystallization of the material grain.

Hot Rolling of sheets

Process Rolling process in which a heated workpiece is pressed between rotating rollers to reduce its thickness. The heat causes recrystallization of the grains.

Profile rolling

Process Rolling process in which the workpiece passes through a series of rollers that gradually shapes the workpiece into the required profile.

Ring Rolling

Process Rolling process in which the workpiece is rolled between two rollers to reduce the radial thickness and increase the diameter.

Rod Rolling

Process Rolling process in which the workpiece is fed between two rotating rollers so that the thickness of the workpiece gradually decreases and creates a rod.

Wire rolling

Process Rolling process where the workpiece is fed between two notched, rotating rollers that gradually reduces the thickness of the workpiece to create a wire.
