Västerdalarnas Mekaniska Industri AB (VMI AB) is a company that offers both cost-effective prototype manufacturing and contract manufacturing in small to medium-sized series as well as complete solutions in the mechanical industry. VMI AB has many years of experience in manufacturing with high quality requirements and well-trained engineering staff who contribute with cutting-edge expertise.
Our ambition is to work in a close relationship with our customers and thereby offer manufacturing with great flexibility and customer adaptation. We take an active part in our customers' product development to create a cost-effective solution regarding both design and production adaptation as well as material selection, etc.
Today's clients include ALMI Dalarna, which for a long time has chosen to hire VMI AB for development, adaptation and production of both prototypes and zero series for the innovators they finance.
To be able to perform high quality with short delivery times, VMI AB has a modern machine park. Most of the machinery is made by Mazak, which means manufacturing with high precision and short set-up times.
