Marking process where a milling cutter remove material and marks the workpiece.

The process

Systems that are often specially adapted for this type of marking is composed of a specially designed cutters [1] made of carbide with small inserts. To achieve the required peripheral speed of the cutter, rotational speed of up to 50 000rpm is required and can be achieved with pneumatic or electric motor. The tool is milled down to the required depth in the material and then passed over the surface by milling to create the label.
