Bristle blasting

Blasting operation where a rotating brush whose steel bristles hit the workpiece surface.

The process

A rotating brush with angled bristles passes over the workpiece surface so that its bristles tip hits and removes a part of the material surface.

The bristles gradually become worn and lose its ability to process the surface properly. The bristles are ground by, then rotating the brush in a direction opposite to the grindstone to grind up a new sharp cutting edge.
