Lidköpings Mekaniska Verkstads AB was founded in 1875. Originally, a large flora of components was produced. SKF bought its first grinding machine from LMV in 1908, which led to the companies being merged in 1929.
We manufacture components through cutting machining and assembly where demands are placed on extremely small tolerances and high quality. We manufacture details from a few kilos to over ten tons. Our customers are mainly in the Nordic region, but we also have international customers.
Since December 2019, we are part of MVG Motala Verkstad Group AB.
